I allready posted a year ago a photo from this house. Nothing positive happens; house, entrance, fence are turning into ruin slowly but surely. It's a real disgrace!

the sugar factory

The sugar factory, build in 1898, was the biggest enterprise in Bulgaria in the beginning of the 20th century, established by Solvay Belgium. Now the district around is called "Zaharna fabrika" (sugar factory), but the building itself is gone to ruin. Parts of it are still used as stores, parts are fully destroyed.
Although I like the building and the area around it very much, the place has a special artistic magnetism. Hopefully like other cities, which have revitalized such areas, Sofia will have an Sugar-Art factory one day.
