The National Opera (1953) - sheltered into the House of the Agrarian Union of Bulgaria, named "Alexander Stambolijsky"after the name of its leader. To be honest I’ve never look up to this typical socialist art example. (friendship between the workers and peasants). It’s really a great relief that the socialism is in the history, now we can enjoy its arts relaxed.

This fresco, obviously on the municipality wall, I discover in Mirkovo, small village near Sofia. I had the strange feeling for a parallel reality - all the streets were empty, only this man was working alone around this masterpiece!
