Some pictures from my weekend in Veliko Tarnovo. The fortress "Tsarevets" by night. Unfortunately I was late and missed the ballet performance from the summer festival "Stage of the Ages". The magenta point in the middle is the stage.
Wow, this brings back some very happy memories. My wife and I were in Veliko Tarnovo last year in July. It is definitely one of our favourites cities. Our hotel room overlooked the fortress and we had a good view of the light show. We are hoping to go back next year.
I've been in Sofia for 2 weeks in 2005, but I unfortunately haven't seen much of such a rich country !So, thank you for sharing these (beautiful) pictures.
