That is just what I needed to ask! I looked at this at home but without enough time to think about it sufficiently. Now I am here at work (oops!) and realise what a massive feat of photographic engineering this is.
Even if you are in a very tall building you could not get this juxtaposition. If you are in a plane ... it probably was crashiing!
How on earth ...
It is just terrific ... and B&W is great ... the silhouette of the crane (and driver) superb ... the texture and shading of the clouds ...

It's a spectactular shot and that's from a photographer for a living. Everyhting about it is superb.
