I was, as you probably remember, a very proud owner of one of those, and I have nothing but fond memories of my Trabi! Cheers!

I read once that the body of the Trabi was made out of Duroplast - which i think was made from resin & recycled cotton. Apparently this material is edible to pigs & goats! A wonder car indeed.
