morning sweep up

You can find such workers-statues from the socialist years everywhere in the bulgarian parks and gardens. Somebody has cut out a part of the metal shovel to sell it as a scrap (very modern vandalism).

It is funny; the missing shovel part completely changes the dynamic of the statue. If you hadn't mentioned it, I don't know what I would have thought that he was doing. Maybe I’d think that he was playing a game of Australian Rules Football and going for a handball.

Shame to ruin statues but yeah, this one now does have an interesting effect.
