The television antenna used to sprout like weeds from our roofs and chimneys too but they have now been replaced by dish antennas. Nice photograph. Brings back a lot of memories.

I don't see outside antennas much any more. If fact, I doubt anyone around here over 15 would have no idea what they are for.

At least antennas were a one time cost. Cable or dish tv is a never ending cost - now that's sad.

Nice graphic! Your photo does bring memories of old cities with timeworn tiled rooftops and brick chimneys. As for analogue TV it is still well alive in NZ, I have 2 antennas on my roof too!

My eyes are attracted to the rich colour of the bricks and tile roof rather than the antennas. I find this an appealing photo.
